In creating this first version of a website community for Chuck’s Roundtable, we made some assumptions, which will likely change. The site is a WordPress site, using the robust BuddyBoss platform-plugin, which gives us great power and flexibility.
- We will start with the simplest set of features and only add what people want.
- We assume ALL members are of equal types, other than site admin. (BuddyBoss allows for different kinds of members with different permissions…)
- We won’t initially use features like personal connections because we assume everyone here is connected to everyone
- We will try to keep the visual complexity down: hence we are not starting with too many multiple column pages: all current features are available from the top menu
